Syntax of model numbers may change slightly over time. Currently:

M = Maytag

V = Vertical for a toploader (or T) [vs. H or F for a frontload model]

W = Washer

P = (something, possibly Premium being this model is "commercial grade")

575 = the series/position/features within the product line

G = year of market introduction (G = 2017)*

W = white (color)

0 (the last one or two numbers) = engineering revision

The original parts documents for both MVWP575GW0 and MVWP575GW1 reference W11261591 for the gearcase assembly.

W11261591 substitutes now to W11454738.

So W11454738 is correct for your model.

*The serial number is coded for year and week of factory production, different syntax than the model-year reference.
