Why wouldn't you have the table run in the same direction as the room?

So since you want a stone top, you have no plans to ever need to expand the size of the table for different events?

It will be in the direction of the room like the first picture. The room is longer on the side of the door. The second one I tried to use some tool to add the furniture and it didn't add properly and changed the room size too

I agree it should run parallel to the feature wall. I would get a deal computed table and camel chairs.

NO gray I do like the caramel color they also look like leather or faux too. Why black at all nothing is driving that choice and the rug is too small and honestly you do not have space for a bigger one and I do not like rugs in DRs The buffet I just noticed seems to be black I do not think a black table is a obvious choice

Sorry about my spelling. I like a dark table with light floors. I also like chairs that are a different colour. Hence my recommendations

fwiw personally I’d skip a stone top - seems like we never seem to love the stone we select forever and it tends to box us in down the road, totally just my opinion - wood is classic

We agree with the others, the dining room table should be parallel to the accent wall. You also might look at actual curtains for the window. Below are just a few different dining room designs of ours. Please take a moment to look at the rugs, chandeliers, tables, chairs, and other decor items.

The size of the accent wall (16ft) is less than the white wall (20ft). Thats why we want to keep tbe table facing the longer wall
