What a great idea! There are alot of children who have never decorated a cookie due to a varietyof circumstances. Kroger also has a free basket of fresh fruit in the produce section for all children to help themselves .

Children need all the support they can get .

This is the best thing I have read in months! I wish there were a Kroger near us. It would be my new grocery store. ETA: Well, look at that! There is one here. Yay.

I haven't noticed anything like that at my local Kroger. People here seem to favor Publix and don't like Kroger. It is kind of a dumpy Kroger compared to most I've been in and they seem to have trouble removing items that have been recalled and/or are long past the expiration date. They have more products I like and better value than Publix which I find to be pretty expensive. So I just carefully inspect most everything I buy.

What a great idea. It's such a wholesome activity and one of my fondest holiday memories growing up. I'm glad they're providing that opportunity..
