Remodeling Flooring Design Dilemma

Choosing Vinyl Floor Tiles - Question

I'm trying to choose a gray floor for my lower level. I am considering Optimax Crescent Bay Hybrid click together 12 x 24 tiles. The tiles are supposed to be waterproof; however, the bottom has a layer of cork. Wouldn't that possibly curl if it were to stay wet? I am also considering Lifeproof vinyl click together tiles. I happen to like the richer look of the Optimax tiles. Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated. TY!

lower level? meaning basement? Address any moisture issues before installing any flooring.

the cork is for comfort and sound. Is the tile in question recommended for damp locations?

You will need moisture testing and a vapor barrier. And NO GRAY ANYTHING. Corpse gray in a basement gives serial killer vibes.

You need to solve the problem of the damp basement first, or you will have mold under the vinyl, or under the vapor barrier. Yes, nothing gray for floors. Ever.
