Any experience with Neptune Wind tub

last month
last modified: last month

I am looking at the Neptune Wind soaking tub for a bathroom remodel but I can't find anywhere that has one to try it out. I like it because it works in a corner but it doesn't use a ton of water like most corner units. I seldom take baths, partially because I hate wasting so much water, but I don't want to give up a tub altogether and I don't want to go upstairs to use that tub. I have compared the measurements to my current tub (length, width and back slope) and I think it will work but it has a weird shape (kind of a teardrop) that is very narrow at the foot end and I'm not sure how much room there is for the feet. So...if anyone here has this tub, can both feet fit in the space at the end, so all the 44.5" of the floor are available? FWIW, we are (now) 5'7" and 5'9".

Also, have you got the faucet and handles on the tub rim or coming from the wall? There is a picture that appears to show them on the tub itself but there's stuff on both ends, so I'm not sure what that is. We have a crawlspace below so we can access the plumbing from there. The tub will be against exterior walls so I don't want plumbing there.
