I like the none globe light for lighting the island , I do not think gold needs to be in there anywhere and I honestly think the whole gold thing will be dated soon. Why not if you want a change go with that slimline pull in stainless IMO the pulls you have are too heavy looking

I like the globe’s design with brass and suggest placing on a dimmer. This info might hep as well.

Mixing metals is a taste preference and is often done. Look at kitchens on line to get a sense of the look. I think the warmth of brass will work well with the counter and flooring.

great to mix, I prefer the 2nd. slim profile. I say no to the globe light. Think about it at night, just a glow ball in the darkness. The other option is lovely, shins down on the surface, just what you want.

I would not choose the globe light which will shine right in your face.

I have glove lights and agree but a good Choice!
