Help design my TV-fireplace wall

Struggling with how to design this wall which will have a 65" samsung frame TV. I'm open to adding a linear electric fireplace below. Our concern is that the space is long and narrow. There is no space to recess the fireplace so we will need to build a frame projecting out, and not sure if that will make the space feel more narrow.

Dimensions of the living room are:

13.5' wide, 25' long, 9' height

TV wall is 126" wide.

I've attached pics of the wall, rough conceptual layout of the space. Also included some 'idea' pics

that could potentially work with the space but really not sure what will work with our space.

"TV wall is 126" wide." and your tv is too small

Putting the tv over the fire, any fire will still need a 5' clearance bottom of tv to floor, and it's high for great viewing......and needs a really wide fire box not to loom.

Answer? Why the need " To design" anything ?

A Samsung frame tv isn't even necessary, as any "SMART TV" can become art with the million apps available!

I'd use great low media cabinetry, buy a lot bigger tv. Nine feet of low cabinet and an 85 inch tv. ( diagonal measure on ALL tv's).

A tv is just that. The agony around a thing bound to change at some point up the road? Crazy. Bigger tv and enjoy the much better tech that allows a big view and amazing clarity.

Face it...the tv IS the fire. We'll be way ahead when we acknowledge that.

It usually is as easy as this.

Want a wood wall? Fine! A something on the wall ? Fine. But it needs nothing along side: )

Your first decision is adding/or not a fireplace and next, considering how to lessen the effect of wall feeling long and narrow and the tv not being as prominent. Using wood slats will do both and there are lots of placement options. Accessories and soft lighting are also key.

Do you need a fireplace?

Many people install them out of habit or thinking you have to have one for resale. When we built in FL I didn't add one. It doesn't make sense for the climate and some future buyer is free to add one later.

I did a built-in for my TV wall with a 75" Samsung Frame TV and DecoTV frame.

Not every room needs a giant TV, even if there is room for it! Jan would have told me to get a bigger TV for this room, that is larger than yours, but I don't need a giant TV in my family room and main entertaining space.. My DH got his own media room with a 100" TV!

I agree with others that a fireplace may not be needed. What value does it add in your area? To me electric fireplaces are “cheap” and an add on so I personally wouldn’t get one. I would rather see you invest in making this a great set up for the tv. Many great ideas thrown around already and it likely depends on your budget.
