Question about Early Golden persimmon tree

last month
last modified: last month

Nine years ago, I planted an Early Golden persimmon tree. I believe that it flowered for the first time in 2023, so it has now flowered for three seasons. It's now about ten feet tall and looks fine, with no visible health issues. Unfortunately, it still hasn't borne any fruit. I do have a couple other persimmon trees (Ruby and Prok) fairly close by, so I would think those should be sufficient for pollination.

Here's my question: Is it unusual for an American persimmon tree to take this long to bear fruit? If so, then what might be the problem? Thanks for any info.
