Do you use the bar cart? If not, I’d store liquor in a cabinet and start looking for a focal point artwork for that wall. If yes, replace it with something more substantial and decorative. If not art maybe a wallpaper mural.

You could do a variety of things, such as adding ”clip on ” shades to your chandelier, a large piece of art, especially on the wall near the plant, a credenza / buffet in place of what looks like a too small bar cart, rug, new centerpiece for dining table, etc. Depends upon the look you’re going for & your budget. And, what the rest of the adjoining room looks like.

The size of the credenza depends upon width of that wall & if plant staying. Looks like your ceilings pretty tall. What is the finish on your table? I like one large piece of art, style & color depends upon what you like. Get something you’ll love looking at everyday.

Suggest large square art that resonates with you. Maybe tape sizes to see what you prefer.

I would choose a different light I always dislike fixtures that light the ceilinng not the table. A nice buffet a piece of art above it . Drapes not just fake panels but actual drapes a nice linen could work. I do not think a rug works in the space since the window is close to the seats on the right . Sorry just noticed you do have drapes .Something a bit more interesting for the table center too
