We have a house with wood siding and will be replacing our old wooden windows with new construction windows. Some of the exterior window pediments are also rotting. One of the contractors told me that they only use PVC pediments with vinyl sidining and recommended styrofoam pediments. He sia PVC pediments will not look/work well with flashing. Other contractors did not bring up any issues in that area. Who is correct here?
