IMO stop now and go with something classic like chrome or nickel these all different brass . gold finishes are just making people crazy no one companny makes everything you need in a bathroom one finish That is why chrome is a good timeless choice everyone makes chrome . I am not a huge fan od mixing metals in tiny spaces I do like timeless finishes in spaces that cost a huge amount of $$$$ to change things like bathrooms and kitchens. I aslo like simple tile choices in bathrooms I use 12 x24 porcelain for bathroom floor , shower walls and same tile smaller for shower floor. KISS is still the best advice IMO You cn if you want do a counter in a nice accent since those are easy to change down the road . If you go the mixed metal route then I advise you choose other things that actually mix chrome and gold or brass together istead of trying to match that finish

I realize that finish is very hard to match so i was thinking mixed metals with it any suggestions on what finish metal to mix with it? thanks! @Patricia Colwell Consulting also why bit mix metals in small spaces? would love to hear your thoughts

I have those finishes in one of my bathrooms. It looks exactly like real brass (at least the tone, I ordered solid brushed brass handles and they matched) I also have a mirror in that bathroom with a frame that tones in but isn't exact and it looks fine. I think Patricia Colwell has a point but if you are doing the bathroom for yourself, do what you like. I like brushed finishes, and I've had brushed gold in bathrooms even when everyone was doing the brushed nickel finishes. I think online they suggest mixing brushed brass/ gold with matte black. But the idea with mixing metals from what I've read is all fixtures one finish, then handles or mirror frame etc. another finish which I think could be done (thoughtfully) even in a small bathroom (although you are talking about a powder room so that's the smallest type). You pick one main metal, and a metal that is complimentary as a secondary. Also no matter what you pick, pick something you love. If you don't love chrome, don't use chrome just because its the safest choice. If its not a big deal to you either way, then think about the overall feeling you want, and which color fits that best. Also with a powder room you can get a little more interesting with style than in a regular bathroom.

For me a powder room is already tiny and so I like the fun to be more like wallpaper or a really cool wall color and not about the mirror and lighting and faucet now all needing to match to keep it simple and honestly for no reason. I do not find thta example attractive so that is just me
