I wouldn’t get the white one. The other two are nice but it depends if you are leaning beige and soft or more greys

Do you mean dune? I think it is more of a sand colour so woild be fine

I'd get the cloud color. To much of a risk that dune will have an undertone that would clash with the rug. Nice storage. Smart that it is accessed by the foot of the bed instead of the side where it could run into bedside table issues.

This one is nice. Color is Oxford Stone. Would work with white furniture and your carpet. Doesn't have to be Farrow & Ball. You could do a color match.

When you come to a site like this, you will get many opinions. Can be confusing. Your daughter sounds like she knows what she wants, so I would say, really, just go with that- plus, follow your own instincts.

Main thing, from my perspective- is to have fun with it. I think in many cases, the children don’t really care that much about the decor. As long as they have their stuff and some pieces in the space that they like and are comfortable- they are good. So often, it‘s the parents who are over obsessing and really making the kids neurotic. Then, the grown kids show up on a site like this- and become even more neurotic. :)

I would just say- as far as bed placement: Try to place the bed so that your daughter can see the room entrance, but not have her feet directly facing the door. Also, definitely don’t place the back of the bed to the windows.

Many young people these days care a ton and have strong defined opinions on what they would like. In the end it's paint and can be fixed easier than a lot of things when it's no longer preferred.

It would be good to say when furniture placement recommendations are based on feng shui. Some people do not share this ancient Chinese belief system.

We’re wiating for her new bookshelf to arrive and was thinking to apply wallpaper on the inside of the bookshelf and on the side that will show from the bedroom entrance (the side of the bookshelf)

Nice bed! The two whites are the left look the best to me. I prefer the one at the far left because it is the "whitest." The second to the left looks a little muddy. The two on the right are way off -- too yellow and too beige. Maybe one of the pros here can suggest a white that is a good one -- not too yellow or too beige.

Kendrah - which color?

On the wall next to the window, would one large framed print look better than a few smaller ones? We’ll frame this print, unsure if we need to get it in a large size (11x17 or bigger) or smaller and add some other things around it. She still wants a floating shelf somewhere for little stuff.

Another question, how would 2 or 3 shelves look next to the mirror ? We would shift the mirror to the side and make room for small floating shelves.

From your comment above, it sounds like your daughter has some idea of what "little stuff" she wants to put on a floating shelf. So, based on exactly what she wants to display, decide whether three shelves or the single long shelf would be most appropriate. I think either arrangement would look OK, as long as the 3 shelves were not so long that the wall looks crowded.

Please keep the circular mirror centered on the dresser. It gives me the willies just thinking about it off to the side. :)

What kind of doo-dads does she want on the little shelves? Can the shelves go on the wall to the right of the windows? Can they go above her bedside table, the lowest one higher than her lamp?

As for picture size. Tape some paper to the wall representing the different sizes you are thinking about and start moving them around and playing with whether one large pic or smaller ones look best. I suspect small ones but see what you like.

She has a lot of souvenirs, clay figures that she’s made, small awards… they are all over her nightstand and dresser at the moment

I find the white curtains give a younger feel to the room but nicer with a natural bamboo roman shade.

Love the darker pink accent pillow

We swapped the light green pillow cases for the floral ones… is it too busy? We have both anyways, can always change them

It's not my bedroom but with the bold print, I prefer the solid colour pillows at the front but you can also use the print pillows at the back instead of the dark green ones. The dark pink accent pillow complements the duvet cover nicely giving contrast.

You may room to add the shelves over the nightstand. I would keep them the same with as the nightstand. The height would look good with the shelving unit on the other side of the bed.

Tried a couple accent pillows, I don’t think they are the right shade of pink

The bottom pillow pictured is fine. We can drive ourselves crazy with this kind of thing. It's not worth it. You've done amazing work in here. It's time to enjoy.
