replace carpet on stairs

I am replacing the carpet on my stairs with Luxury vinyl
My question is
What color would look best ?
Attached is a photo of my stairs
I would like to go lighter than the railing
I am not changing

You have wood stairs, why are you not simply having the stairs refinished to match the wood flooring?

Did you find a vinyl flooring that matches your flooring?

So you'll need the vinyl planks and stair nosing for the stairs.

Why don't you want to install carpet on the stairs again?

I don’t want carpet because I have cats . They use it as a scratching post
The floor is ceramic tile
I want to match the bottom step of the stairs and the hand railing with Luxury vinyl
