Original fir floor that we refinished

Hi Sarah, we are in the middle of a kitchen remodel using fir floors. These look beautiful, Can I ask how you finished the fir. Did you use any stain? And what kind of polyurethane did you use - water or oil?

There is no stain and we used 3 coats of Vermister which is a water based finish. I don't know where if the country you are but we are in Seattle and can no longer get the Vermister so we are currently using a water based finish by a manufacturer called Glitsa. Good luck. Fir is beautiful.
