I woke DH up in time to see the ball drop. Then we both said it before we said happy new year. Let's hope we have nothing but good luck all year long!

I said it at 12:10 when the racket outside woke me up. I gues it was fireworks.

I said it first thing this morning. Then I commenced with the ceremonial transferring of the birthdays from one wall calendar to the new one. My mom did this every year as long as I can remember. She was 91 when she passed and had been living with me. I carry it on in her honor. It's wonderful to see all the new additions as they come along and to remember those who have passed.

I remembered!!!
