Jealous is how I'm doing. There won't be any gardening here until April when the compost and the ground thaw. Even then, all I can plant are onions and peas. Outdoor gardening doesn't really begin until early to mid-May. I have an indoor plant propagation set-up, and I used to get antsy and plant stuff in February, which is two months too early. I end up nursing too large seedlings desperate to get outdoors. Now the first thing I write on new calendars is an entry on the 21st of April---DO NOT PLANT ANYTHING INDOORS PRIOR TO THIS DATE.

It's nice hearing from other more fortunate' gardeners in the meantime.

At least you have a nice break from gardening.! There is no such luxury here, on South.

^^^ Nyuk, ain't that the truth, even here in balmyish Va not having to mow the lawn and weed eat for 5 months is keeping me alive a bit longer. It is also nice to prune the fruit trees without getting heat stroke. We got 2.1 inches of rain yesterday, almost too much. Maybe some snow is coming on Thursday night, hopefully just some.
