Do you intend to keep those mirrors on either side of the window? If so, then a round or circular light with texture makes more sense. But, if you remove the mirrors, the space will be more cohesive with a clean look, like the vibe of your living room, in which case I would do a linear light. I don't like for your space the linear light you selected, however.

I'd start by taking down the mirrors in the dining room and replacing them with drapery panels that are the color of your upholstery in the living room.

Next I'd select a linear chandelier for over the table.
