I really like Green Icon and Glory to his name! Sherry, I've always been a fan of Getting Airborne and Green Eyed Envy. I can see the heat took a toll on them last season.

I only have one registered G, and I didn't get a very good photo of it.

Gypsy Cats - I hope it will perform better next season. Scapes were short and bud counts were only 8-10. It was one of the ones not planted until late October, so I'm sure it will improve this year.

I'll post a couple of seedlings under the G's since they gave strong performances.

Grandma's Smile X Bubblegum Delicious had good height, moderate bud count, and rebloomed on several fans.

Grandma's Smile X Dearest Valentine had a bud count of 22. Although it always rebloomed in Nashville, it did not rebloom here.

Nancy - Glowing Quasar is my favorite of yours. I saw it growing in Rice's garden the year before he introduced it, and those blooms did glow indeed!

It's funny. Glowing Quasar should be right up my ally, but when I grew it for a couple of years it didn't send me. The heat didn't exactly fade it out, but it dulled the colors enough that it just lost its oomph for me. I do like Gisela Meckstroth. Very open faced form in the picture....Debra: Your Grandma's Smile seedling is a sweetheart. It's my favorite today........Brad: Glory To His Name is a nice one. Nancy: Gisela Meckstroth and Gryphon Hankow Legacy are ones I would pick to grow here.

Brad: Green Inferno is also one I would pick. A yellowish green?

We are in tundra temps (3 F this morning )and we are greatful that our neighbor came over yesterday and cleared our driveway. Lots of snow cover. I still have to clear a small amount in front of the garage door and do the sidewalk but not in any hurry.

Julia, the yellow daylily behind Get R done is Simplicity in Motion. It has had great increase, tons of buds……cant say enough good things about it. I believe I got it from Laura. It would be a good addition if you have room.

Julia, Green Inferno is definitely a yellowish green. Some days the green is quite vibrant.

David, thanks for posting your photo of Gaudeamus. We grow it too and have disappointed that the color is so pale compared to some photos I have seen. It's also been a finicky grower in our garden.

Those photos were taken during my visit to Brent Ross' Cottage Gardens. They are not in my garden. I would like to grow about half of what he has in his garden, but I can't add 2,000 more to my collection (even though I would like to try).

Nancy - The color of Gaudeamus has been disappointing. I too was suckered by the coloring in other images. I will have to do some crossing with stronger pinks to see what I get.

Julia: Green Icon is more true lime green in the AM fading to more of an acidic lemon green in the PM. This picture was taken in mid afternoon about 2:30 PM so it had been in full sun up until then. A cooler climate would keep more of the lime green.

David: Green Imperial Pigeon is one I love. It's an evergreen however, and after this very cold winter, my garage for tender daylilies is stuffed to the gills with no room to spare, so I'll just have to enjoy yours......Maryl

Maryl, is your Green Icon growing in the ground?

Glowing Lantern, I see, is a Bell out of Deliverer.

Most of the Korth pinks, I find, are lighter here than sometimes pictured. One sees a lot of darker hues, but those are in a cooler climate or are computational images taken in low light.

Glory to His Name looks good.

Giesela Meckstroth I have had for a shorter period than Nancy has. I saw it at Ashwood the year of intro, and it was quite a looker, though bud count was modest.

Green Icon here is still a fairly young plant. I don't know how well it will do. It is not as tall (yet) as some report. And the Doorakian stuff here has tended not to thrive.

Green Mystique is an older Stamile that has been quite reliable. Who knows after this horrific winter?

Goodbye Blue Sky is a lovely hue, but too young to evaluate.

Gimme Gimmee Gimmee is an older Davisson that I quite like.

Guayabera is a Hanson.

Gia's Wonder is tall and large.

Glass Houses looked very good last summer.

Glowing Quasar is beautiful, but bud count is modest. Good height.

Great Is Thy Faithfulness. We shall see. An Emmerich out of Pray W C.

Guard Your Heart is a colorful Emmerich. Fairly short.

Grand Daddy, a Davisson, has taken its time to establish.

Glass Ceiling is another Davisson that has been slower to take off.

Graphic Art is a splendid Davisson cultivar.

Get R Done was ok the past summer.

Getting Airborne has not been a fast multiplier here, but we have had two years of drought lasting at least two months in the summer/fall (fortunately beginning later last year).

Mantis, I really like Guard Your Heart, great colors! Glass Houses is also pretty.

mantis: Glass Ceiling looks very much like Ribbit Ribbit (also a Davisson) I grew in NYS. What do you think? It was a stellar performer for me and I hope to get it from her again this spring along with a couple of others.

I remember you, and maybe Chris from Michigan, posting Ribbitt. Not the same plant habit (confirmed by another's experience), but Glass C may yet flourish. It is more lavender than Ribbit. Ribbit got the moniker Ribbit Rabbit because of its multiplication rate.

I forgot two Korths, both of which I like.

Grace Like Rain is an earlier one and very reliable.

Grace Alone actually has good height, which the picture may not suggest.

Mantis: I like Grace Alone. I looked it up on the NGA and it has no pictures posted of it. If you have the time you might want to post one or two of yours. It's a pretty thing even if lavender tones are usually a shade of mauve for me. Which doesn't really bother me. Just different...........Maryl
