Oh the skill level indeed. I hope your days are quickly passing because you are busy with these. Temps in Granada are 52 degrees warmer than Northern IL and I suppose there is no snow on the ground either..

With traced freezer paper templates, it's not really a difficult pattern. It just looks difficult.

I am thankful I am in a warmer climate and that I have plenty of room to work on this project in the apartment.

My DH & I have family in Missouri, New Mexico, Illinois, Virginia, N. Carolina, and Florida, and several are currently threatening to fly down for a visit, lol.

Have to say I am enjoying the AC and long hot showers, too!

My husband and I are taking a Windstar cruise of the Caribbean starting in San Juan and heading south as far as Bequia in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. We’ll spend a whole day there so I’ll be able to see my sister, her restaurant and the home they are building there.. We leave on February 25. I’m so exciyed.

I know you will be in the neighborhood, Lois, and I wish we could cruise up to Bequia to say hello, but I am not so confident the work will be completely finished by then. It would be lovely to meet you, your husband, and sister and partner and finally eat at their restaurant! If our work finishes earlier and we can get there, I will post a message here. Will you be able to check messages on cruise? I think they have wifi on the cruise ships.

Yes, I will have wi-fi. It would be fun to meet, but I know the logistics of that will be daunting. Hope all goes well with the boat repairs/upgrades.
