IMO wood look tile is done and done so why do you want it? I would do LVP very afforadable stands up well and easy to install and keep clean

Go with Tile ! There are amazing faux wood tile options and would have no issues going with a herringbone layout.

I would do LVP. It is warmer and softer under foot.

Here's our wood look tile going in the basement of a new build last year.

Floor is radiant heated, so ceramic was the best choice on that basis alone.

In person, it's so realistic that most visitors bend down to touch it to figure out what it is.

Update:I did wood look tile in porcelain and came out beautiful in herringbone pattern

Note the contrast with the dry--but double mopped and "swiffered"sections. Tempting me to try a wax coating. The first and second floors are red oak without wax for an industrial look.

Well. We r still a work in progress here but I am pretty proud of myself after a panic attack in the beginning. I stuck with it and although it may not be perfect. I did it. U can see the vision a bit here in this photo. Floor is Lowe’s great price as it will be discontinued I hear near me. Allen and Roth Maui honey.
