I like your upper knobs and I would not change them out to be pulls - your kitchen leans traditional in detailing and I find the mixed knob and pull look to be more in keeping with your style. As for warmth - I think it’s already pretty warm looking. What type of stool are you leaning towards for the island? Do you have enough aisle clearance by the refrigerator for stools? If it’s tight you should consider backless stools that tuck all the way under. You could do a backed/cushioned chair for the end. The style of the stools should be in keeping / work with your adjacent breakfast area so pictures of that would be helpful.

And I know you said no further renovation suggestions but I do think the trim detailing around the island pendants is heavy looking. I’d either remove it entirely or paint it to match the ceiling white and not the cabinet color. Just my personal opinion so take that or leave it.

Can you provide a picture of the dining area, as its style should be considered. The flooring and lighting lean French Provincial…is that the direction you are interested in? Did you want a back and with island being small, consider proportions.

What type of decor are you considering…a runner, art? Suggest choosing after the seating is added.

@thinkdesignlive already purchased the handles and do want them to match, and love the look, the knobs look very cheap. Paid a fortune this week for the ceiling and love it, def would not dream of changing back. Stools are the question, yes there is enough clearance and will need new dining area to match stools and rest, so that’s another question. Love gold metal bottoms of stools with beige leather, but think metal on stone may be very cold

Add- Vase of yellow daffodils, a couple blooming orchids and some new kitchen towels in colors you love.
