I love the solid whites/creams, but your space sounds pretty monochromatic already. Their faux marbles are beautiful (e.g., Neo Cloud), but for a cottage-y feel you could look at their many, many wood options (e.g., Macchiato Walnut or Walnut Butcherblock). I don’t love the idea of color on a surface that will last for 50+ years, but they do have a beautiful blue in Glass Cloth, and I’m a sucker for anything that resembles terrazzo, like Sea Salt.

as a suggestion, since it's so small, look from remnant granite pieces. u could prob find some for under 100. or, do a butcher block. HD has them for $150.

You didn't mention the colour for your Merino cabinets. Here I'm showing them in charcoal. The marble look formica sounds a bit fancy for your cottage style shop kitchenette so I'm suggesting this fabric look by Formica. Black barn light sconces complete the look.
