Is the table needed to serve as a buffet surface? If yes, maybe 2 plants — flowering if possible— in a larger and smaller size. If no, I’d move the console to another location.

Since you are asking about styling, assume it‘s not functionally needed? It feels random and the style doesn’t suit the other pieces. When accessorizing, if you need ideas/help, there are lots of styling tips articles on Pinterest.

If you want to add interest by the window, consider a tree/clay pottery (move the outside plant over as far as possible).

You have a fight between visual weight of the armoire ,and the weightless console

    Remove the console : )

Or show the entire space, all four angles. If you must have it? It needs to move one full glass pane to the right, unless that is exit to the beyond/ deck.

Its a no go as is...sorry!

Put the armoire against that left wall, don't angle it.

The table appears to serve no purpose. I suggest you move it to a room that needs a table. Otherwise, release it to serve a purpose for someone who needs a table.

Also, that armoire/chest is gorgeous! The baskets on top of it don't do it any favors. Store them inside the chest, or inside a closet, until needed. Or let them go, too.

Edited to add: I didn't mean to be flip about your possessions. I'm at a point in life where when I recognize that something I have is not serving me well, I'm eager to let it go to "a better home." You may be in an entirely different stage of life, and have good reason to want to keep things that you invested in, trusting that a need will reveal itself.

Possible good places for the console table include behind a couch, or in an entry area. You may find another place in your home that turns out to fill a need. That would be ideal.

Here are more pictures, the idea of that console is to serve as a buffet when I have friends over. So I would like to style it when its not in use.

Fern on top of chest is pretty. maybe move the console even 6” to the right. minimal decor on top— just an orchid?

Not the right location for a console table.

You might be able to place a sofa table behind the sofa.

The room is very nice without it. I would keep it in another room and bring it out when needed.

I've run out of ideas for the console, but I did want to say how lovely your room is overall. I love the way you've furnished and decorated.

You don;t need the tufted sofa, , and pull the ottmans over to replace it.

The console, just does not work , sorry!

Draw and measure the entire space, and there may be other solutions. How far is the kitchen and show a few views from the window end.
