Help with too large of window my ceiling height is 26 ft.

Help me to find the best window covering for the bottom half of this window wall. its too wide for any shade so it would have to be three motorized and im not sure I like that idea. thinking about a vertical panel shades but thats not motorized and I cant see walking that around the sofa. Im thinking about stationary drapes on sides with a motorized roller shade but the drapes would need to cover put of the windows and the roller shade would not be wide enough so that would

show on the outside.

What is the width? I have two motorized shades on 20’ of my interior glass & a single outdoor solar shade on approximately 19’. Custom indoor shades come in a variety of widths. I’ve always found it better to order from an independent window covering store.

My two motorized indoor shades are synced so that they open & close together. No batteries either, we had a electrician wire the power for both the indoor and outdoor shades.

Select Blinds - appear to sell roller shades with a width up to 103" and cellular shades with a width up to 120" - Motorized.

What exactly is the goal? Do you need to filter light during the day for TV viewing, privacy at night, a combo of the two? A traverse style rod with drapes can offer you both (two layers of drapery) and you can have the pull on either left or right which will draw both sides at once. It won’t be cheap but neither would any type of shades.

From what I can see in the pics you eed to control the UVrays through that window now. So motorized solar shades on the lower windows will do that easily then a custom made fixed solar shade for the upper arched window . That one will stay in plce always but the lower one can open on cloudy days but the bonus is you get to keep the view always. The dhades give yo daytime priacy too but nightime privay will require drapes usually on the bottom window .

If it were my home I would do motorized shades on the lower window & have the upper arched window tinted for UV protection. That’s what I did for my home in the Palm Springs area, works great, protects our upholstery & art. Btw, I have solar shades in both my homes ( because we don’t like drapes ) & there is NO issue seeing through them at night, perhaps vague shadows? . One of our homes is on a busy pedestrian street at the beach, you absolutely cannot see much through them, not that I care …because I leave them up 90% of the time.

Blinds.com has custom motorized solar shades up to 120.78 inches. You would need the inside measurement of your window. I used them for my solar shades and was very happy with the quality. I didn't get motorized but I did get cordless. I live in SW Florida and my room faces west with a pool so there is plenty of light and reflection in the afternoon. The shades do a great job of blocking the UV rays and heat.

Everyone seems to be talking about solar shades which I feel I really dont need . I'm in Minnesota and these trees will be full of greenery spring summer and fall which will block alot of my sunlight. Does anyone know if you can get a rollershade in 122 inches motorized and or a motorized large panel track verical blinds?

So what do you want? What is the purpose? You do realize that solar shades come in a wide range of opacities, higher percentages provide more view & that you can always raise them when not needed? Visit one of your local window coverings stores, they can provide options.

I believe that blinds.com also has motorized roller shades in the same sizes available.

Seeing the photos farther back I see drapes won’t work with your hearth protrusion.
