I got own root Jude from Heirloom Roses nursery and it is doing well here.

I am waiting on three Judes directly from David Austin, I am assuming they are grafted on the Dr.H.

edit: sorry I just went to check and website says sold out again on Jude. They may get some more.

Also Sophia I do not know how old are your plants. I have heavy acidic red clay and own root takes a few years but very worth it. My own root earth angels took a solid 4 years before they looked great. Your own roots may just need more time

Dianela i know 😫 we didnt know if we were staying or leaving when it came in stock. kicking myself for not ordering it and chancing it 😭 i do have acidic red clay so mayb this will be the year! and to be fair they were completely neglected for the year we were away. So lets hope!

Check out the latest post on the UK/EU thread. Marlorena posts a fairly long list of Golden Oldies that Austin is strongly rumored to be bringing out again for sale over there. Jude is on the list. I think we'll be getting a list, too. A while back, I lectured them in an email I sent to "Contact Us" on the DA website about retiring their most profitable roses, and what a bad move it was, etc, etc. Needless to say, they did not acknowledge my letter, though they state they will reply promptly to emails on the Contact Us.
