Need photo that shows the whole wall (at least) in order for any help. This close up photo is not going to help people provide you with good advice/suggestions.

Showing all the walls in the room is better - people will be able to make sure everything works well together.

Show the entire room, not just a wall.

Sorry, I can’t draw it out on here , I’m a tech idiot, but I think a trio of framed art hung to somewhat mimic the curve of the headboard. The center piece of the three hung slightly higher than the two alongside…. i apologize if my description is confusing..

A more organic shape might work better over the curve of the bed. The straight lines seems to fight the bed.

I think I would do something in copper to introduce that very interesting shade of green the copper oxidizes to for maybe pillows or even drapes

I still have nothing over our bed as I cannot make a decision. That said I am leaning more and more toward something above nightstands instead of over bed.

In my opinion, nobody needs anything hanging above their headboard, nor above (let alone behind) their bedside lamps. You can't see any of it when you're in bed. Hang your art where you can see it and enjoy it!

I'm an outlier in this regard, but at least it's food for thought.

One other thought: if you live somewhere where there has been an earthquake, odds are there will be another one. You really don't want anything hanging over your headboard then, or anywhere over your bed at all. Certainly not the spiky metal thing in your first picture, nor the otherwise gorgeous copper piece that Patricia suggested. Those are downright dangerous.

I've been through several earthquakes, including the Northridge quake in 1994—and a few in New York City, believe it or not. Northridge cured me of hanging things where they can land on my head.

I do agree that hanging the piece I showed would be much nicer hung to enjoy it while in bed and the issue of earthquake is real
