It is difficult to help without seeing additional pics of your space.

I would suggest picture/pictures/tapestry, etc. You would be less likely to run into it as you round the corner on the left side. Also one less horizontal surface to worry about.

I think a skinny console table in a high-traffic area would be easily knocked over.

WE have no idea what will work because the picture is too close, Step back and take a picture of the entire wall and pictures of the rest of the space for context

You might want to consider a console with a curved front so the table is not awkward in the space. It's hard to know what to suggest when we have no context for suggestions.

What about a mirror? Your requirement for a skinny table suggests that you don't have much space in front of the wall. Maybe a sofa defines a narrow walkway.

Art or mirror would not encroach on the space.

An interesting large mirror or large piece of art would be perfect for this wall.

Off topic.....on the the top molding, the right edge is not level and throws off the wall.
