Honey Oak Stairs

We are finishing our basement and going with Sherwin Williams Accessible Beige paint and a black bar. I’m having a hard time picking out the luxury vinyl plank flooring color for the honey oak stairs is bringing you down there and it’s all open. Need to find a floor color that will work. We’ve been looking at the brand Timeless Design but open to others.

You should probably just do regular wood stair treads stained to match either the flooring on either the main floor (if open to the main floor) or possibly the basement (if there's a door at the top of the stairs).

My understanding is you have honey oak stairs already. You need to bring samples home and.see how they look in your light. Consider thicker laminate. Which is now waterproof. It doesn't flex as much over less than perfectly flat floor. Get a box to spread out to see the full tone range and no surprises.

Don't try and match a vinyl floor to real wood, it will lokk like a miss no matter what. Go in a completely different direction.
