DD had bath vanities templated today for a mini-remodel. From here, I am concerned about amt of room behind the sink.

Template guy said optimum space from back of sink to wall should be 6 inches. 3 inches edge of sink to back of faucet (She's going with a single lever faucet up on top) 3 cm or a little over an inch for backsplash. That leaves not quite 2 inches behind faucet to backsplash.

Fabricator will split the backsplash in half, for what we feel is an acceptable price. Will this 1.5 cm backsplash look silly on 3 cm quartz?

Thoughts? Pros/Cons?
