I'm sorry I have no information to share, but the lady looks like a wonderful rose!

If I recall correctly, @Formerly RBEHS Z10A/S17 grows Irene B. She's somewhere in Cali, but I'm sketchy on the geography. But she should be able to help you, though I don't know how much difference there is in Sunset zones 17 and 22.

Mine has grown to be about 20 feet tall and 15 feet wide. According to my spreadsheet, I planted it in November 2013. It's been one of my most carefree roses. It blooms all year long, but with a big flush in late spring. It does not set hips. My only issue with it is how the flowers take on a tannish tone as they fade, but, before then, the contrast of light and deep pinks is very pleasing. Here's a picture I may have already posted from last May:

Mine might be 8 ft X 4 ft.

Sheila, how old is your plant? Some Teas just seem to keep on getting bigger every year.

At least 8 years I think, Melissa. I think our heat and rain of 18.5 inches per year (but I do irrigate) may keep some smaller than where you are.

@Formerly RBEHS Z10A/S17, your cultivar is astounding, both in beauty of blooms and girth! How is it supported?

I don’t have much experience with climbing roses. I understand that training ultimately guides the structure of roses and bending canes horizontally encourages laterals, but I also have observed that some roses just want to do their own thing.

I have a very young plant, so I have time to decide on where to plant it. It seems from both of your experiences, it should be given the tallest and widest space possible—that this is an XL variety rather than a dainty climber, like Colette. Would you agree?

I leave mine as a mound. Maybe 8 Ft height and 6 ft width.

Mine uses a persimmon tree and back stairs for support. It reaches almost to the top of the persimmon now:
