1960s brick ranch house has poor lighting except for large French doors. No windows in kitchen.

Has ceiling fan light for dining which is ok. But very dark kitchen with track light which provides insufficient light. Looking to replace with better option?

Actually most of the house does not have enough light. Small windows and no ceiling lights—currently using floor lamps for two of the bedrooms at least. Really need a change.
