A wine rack would make sense , IMO liquor bottles are not decor but where is your glassware for the cabinets ?

It’s pretty narrow on both sides, nice bar cabinet. Perhaps concentrate on accessorizing your bar. Mine is much smaller but …. it changes often. The white tray under the lamp isn’t normally there, had it out for appetizers the other night.

I assume your wine rack, if you have one, is in the refrigerated section, that's where most people ( that I know ) store their wine @ 54 degrees. That’s where mine is kept …..

a simple tray you can carry back and forth to the kitchen.

If you're going to add a small plant, make it mint. for a fresh garnish.

I'd prob do it something like this.

move it left, do some open wood shelving (you can match the wood to the console)

some sconces would look better. and off to the right, a tall, wide plant (or a chair to fill up that spot)

then do a nice pendant light over the table w/a tall vase/twigs of some type

and a rug. a rug that's big enough to reach out past the chairs

There is no lighting that would allow you to use this as a bar. Select a buffet lamp for a linear light over the artwork.

They have battery operated picture lights on Amazon.

If that’s the case, some liquor bottles ARE very decorative, more so than most wine bottles. Visit a nice Total Wine & More if there’s one nearby.

I like it how it is with the open space on the sides, the placement is nice with the window - I wouldn’t crowd it
