You have goo stack back area on either side of window. I suggest linen, rod hung high and at least 3" wider than the window trim.

Your only choice is to select a treatment that is inset in the window.

I would do roman shades

like the idea of softening the dining room window and keeping it more formal but you wouod lose the edge of the moulding
