Help me find a side table

I’m working on this room. Help me find a side table to go here beside the chair. I’ll move the artwork after I have everything situated. Any ideas on a side table that would work?

What does the rest of the room look like? There are many styles of side tables that could fit next to your chair = we need something to work with re: styles vs. just posting random options.

How about something like this . I see a almp there but you need much better lighting in the rest of the space too

I like this. It goes well with the other drum end table. I am looking for a lamp to go on the cabinet beside the fireplace. Also have recessed overhead lighting. Where is this table from?

I'd like to recommend the furnishings be arranged in the corner as you wee below.

Place the tree in the corner, place the chair on the diagonal place the floor light on one side and a drum table on the other side.

I agree with Beverly, that the chair needs to be angled a bit towards the sectional.

I would do two matching C-tables, but prettier than the one you have there now.

The round drums take up too much room and end up too close to each other. I wouldn't do another, or different drum tables, that close to each other.

I like the angle idea. I’ll try it. What about a table like this?

I like your idea. I’ll try it. By the way, the chair is oversized- 50”

What is the height of the arm of the chair? How much open space is there from the chair arm to the corner? This is modern and may fit the space.

Chair is 27” arm height. 20” tops from chair to corner

The one you asked about above is fine but I think I would put it where the lighter table is now and put the lighter table next to the dark chair and wall. Otherwise everything in that corner will be dark and there won't be any contrast.

I like the pedestal table I posted; but I deleted it, because I think these are better:

    Some other possible styles -

The ones below are from TJ Maxx - however, I'm sure that Amazon has similar ones. Do a Google image search if you like any of the ones posted below or in other comments. Many of these items will be sold by several retailers and the pricing is sometimes quite a bit different depending on the seller

    .

I also like the idea of putting the chair in the corner as suggested in above comments. Please take a photo and post when you try it out!

Why not try moving the items first and taking a photograph of the results?

Maybe the chair is in that area so that someone sitting on it could also view the tv. Albeit, not the greatest tv viewing position, but at least they can see it.

In any case, I hope the tv is on a drop down mount. Mantelmount.com.

You’re right. That was the original intent but in reality not many TV watchers over there. I will move things and post when I get the chance.

You can see how it feels. I think where the chair is currently is the “best seat in the house”, from a feng shui perspective. Do you notice that people- and/or you- gravitate to that chair?

I needed a narrow table and found this one and actually bought two! Love them and only minimal assembly. There are many choices out there. Hope you like a bit more storage!! I am considering another for our guest room but in the lighter finish. The 3 drawer one is great bit also has ubs outlets and power cord.

Freedomplace, it is my fave place to sit!

Flo, the end table would be handy but just isn’t my style.

There is a reason. I am pretty sure the chair is in this room’s ”Command Position” - in feng shui terms.

So, if it’s not broke... ;)

This is the angled version of the chair with two different side tables. I feel like the chair is too large to an angle. It’s 50 inches wide.

I really like your last picture with the black table and the chair on a slight angle. Looks great.

I like the chair angled. It fills in the corner nicely. I prefer the lighter table. The darker just seems to blend into the chair and makes the corner feel darker. You might also consider painting the wall vent the same color as the wall to help it blend in.

To everyone following this post: Please show all four sides of an entire space when you ask a Dilemma. It's important to see all elements of a room--door openings, other furnishings, space, etc.

To OP: Since you have a large ottoman/coffee table, get a tray for it for your remote. Then use the sofa side table for your chair. It blocks the visual and actual flow into the living room. With the size of the furniture you have, plus huge TV screen, you don't need another piece of furniture.

Good job, that's an inviting corner, and looks lovely.

I think it need to be angled more so that the back is centered on the line line where the two walls meet

It’s 50” so too large for that.
