If you have tiny hands why is this an issue I would think most are ample for most fingers and small hands should not be an issuw. I think if a huge deal for you you might need to go and actually test them in real life

I have tiny hands and it's an issue for me...especially on the shaker drawers where the trim adds further dimension. Others in my family have much larger hands. It's getting to be a bit of a pain ordering, trying them out, and returning.

This one is 1 5/16th inch projection which is the same as (1.3125) Amerock. I don’t know if the shape would work better for you- and/or if the style would suit you better.

Yes, it's a problem. Best bet is to go to a kitchen or bath showroom where they display knobs and pulls. For modest budgets, a trip to Home Depot or similar big box store can show you a lot of Amerock pulls, among other brands. Some Ace hardware stores have a few dozen on display, too.

You can also measure a pull that is comfortable to see how much finger space there is, then measure the thickness of the pull and the projection. It will give you an idea what to look for when the photos include an edge-on view. There's no substitute for actually trying one out, though.

My pulls have a 7/8" space behind the pull and it is plenty of space for me to grab. My pulls are flat on the front but a taper on the back and a rough finish so easy to grab and if need be my fingers easily fit behind. I chose mine because I have arthritis and that only gets worse as I age. When choosing them I went to Home Depot and tried a few to see how much room I wanted.

Chispa - Yes! Exactly my sentiment...to give enough clearance to not brush against the cabinets too much. I am dumbfounded how narrow the clearance is for nearly all of the handles I've tested. I had no idea you could get custom-made pulls. Yours and the others at Pruskin are GORGEOUS! Sadly, we are nearing the end of our renovation (with a LOT of drawers!) so I don't have the budget to go that route...as much as I'd LOVE to! Our cabinets are begging for some beautiful hardware! Some manufacturers make spacers that allow the cabinet knobs and pulls to stick out farther, basically fat washers with a nice finish. Google "spacer for cabinet knobs" to see some examples.

On Shaker style cabinets, the pulls are often mounted to the top rail now. This gives more room for fingers and places them higher up, making them more ergonomic on the cabinets.

I used Top Knob Riverside pulls in our bathroom (BSN finish) and coffee bar (honey bronze). I like them so much I'm considering using them in our upcoming kitchen remodel. I believe the projection is 1 3/8" which I find to be very comfortable.
