A few first blooms open, a few clumps

I can’t match Kay’s clump shots but I have had some pretty blooms.

Cloud of Witnesses had one bloom open yesterday and this clump today

Which Way Jim is beginning to open

Mister Butters

Butter Cream-love this bloom

I’m In Love-If I had hybridized this bloom, I would have given it this name too! Perfect blooms every time

Abby Davisson-ffe

Cool Composure is a pretty bloom

Tavares Dark Star was sent by mistake but I really like it

Green Rainbow should give a nice clump shot in a few days

Froggy is being choked out by a rose

Deliverer does not have Kay’s fabulous clump factor yet. Mister Butters behind and Supergirl to the left

Special Candy can be striking

I knew you should be having clumps pretty soon and they would be bodacious. Cloud of Witnesses is very pretty but the double clump of Deliverer and Mr. Butters with Supergirl is really nice. I, too like your Tavaris Dark Star and if it is anything like Tavaris Multicolor it will be a great bloomer. Abby Davidson and Cool Composure are probably my favorite blooms This is getting into a really fun time for you too...you know, the walk and look at the photos with a cup of coffee in hand ecept you are having to take pictures..Very pretty post, Kate.

Lots of great daylilies! Cloud of Witnesses and Which Way Jim are my favorites. Deliverer is nice too.

Some very lovely clump shots today. I am looking forward to seeing a Green Rainbow clump, what a performance this season. Love the big green throat on Cool Composure.

Kay, it is most relaxing to walk around in the mornings looking at the blooms. Coffee often has to wait until after photos. I usually do a second walk through with coffee thermos in hand!!

Thanks Brad. It is a good time for blooms! I love this part of the season where every day has new blooms.

Sherry, I have two clumps of Green Rainbow in two different areas and they are both bud filled.

Last year, Special Candy was very good here; the previous year, a bummer. Mr. Butters is a spectacle in the early garden.

I did go back and check photos from last year, Mantis. Which Way Jim had first bloom one day before Mr. Butters had blooms so they did synchronize last season.

Clumps in bloom are always welcome. I of course like the yellows, but Taveras Dark Star and Abby Davisson are nice darker ones. Pretty...........Maryl

Ooh, I'm in love too with I'm in Love. I figured it to be a southerne daylily, but I looked it up and found that it is a Grossmann. That means I can grow it. It has such rich color and I love the watermark. I also like the rich color of Which Way Jim.

Nice group and clumps. . Butter Cream looks good with the green throat. Nice reddish color on I'm In Love.
