Take a photo of your kitchen as it is. Looks like you aren't a minimalist, which is fine, but you might want to edit some things. I would need less visual clutter if it was my space.

definitely not an exposed bulb or a ball of light. The room is already very busy with the glass doors and window design. Keep it simple.

If keeping the chandelier, I chose #6.

I like no. 1, the final photo. The globe shape echoes the sphere of the dining table chandelier, and the black metal does as well. No. 3 also has the black, but I think it could be too much when repeated three times. No. 6 is just right.

Seems like keeping a black metal finish would be necessary

The round shape of the globe reinforces the round shape of the chandelier.

The only issue is ......how large in diameter the globe light should be? 17" is too large for the pendants.

I prefer the solid cone for the same reason as Lyn. There's so much other movement in the room that the others just add to the busyness.

I think we all want to avoid adding busyness, but our perception of busyness varies. To my eye, add adding another shape and a shiny gold surface makes the solid cones more busy. There’s probably the beginnings of a lab study in psychology here! Meanwhile, it’s a very pretty kitchen and dining area.
