As a lifelong resident of rural America, all that window exposure would give me the heebie jeebies. I would buy power shades/blinds for all the windows; they could probably be a bit opaque, but not a lot. Off-white.

You might not be concerned with the lack of privacy, though.

Whether you go with shades or drapery panels, go from floor to ceiling. With all the crazies out there I believe blocking the view into your apartment is essential.

There is a new product out there that adheres to the glass as a film and block views.

For draperies I would recomend a ceiling mounted rod with either a pinch pleat or ripple fold

This below is luminette vertical drape/blinds.

Wow - Wee - That is a lot of glass. You can rest assured that many have binoculars.

In the meantime consider paper shades for a bit of privacy.
