It's been a while since I've posted, 18 years perhaps!!We are back in the gardening game and wanted to share a "grow along" as we test the efficacy of aged manure, AND home made fish emulsion.The setup.. We have turned over a new plot, measuring 6X3 and broken it down into three sub plots. The plots are separated by 24" plywood buried to 18".Plot 1 - (all the way right) is the control plot. water only!Plot 2 - center plot - This plot received 10 gallons of aged manure a few days before planting.Plot 3 - left - Also received manure, and will continue to be fed fish emulsion starting two weeks from now, and then once a week for 8 weeks.Each plot was planted with the exact same layout. A zinnia,. a. Mexican midget tomato, a row of beans, and a row of Indian corn.
