My first thought is why isn't the sectional reversed so it goes in front of the wall, extending to run parallel to the fireplace. Chairs in front of the window. This gives more people a view out the windows.

If you put the sectional along that wall, it would be blocking the main hallway which enters into the room. You can see that area in my last picture. I’m just wondering how people feel about the flow of the room and any decor ideas our changes that would be beneficial

IMO your tree is in the wrong location.

Your art is undersized.

The selection of decorative pillows is really boring. Needs more pattern and texture.

If you adhere to this list of elements your room will be more interesting.

I like your mock up, except the floor lamp and tree would be blocking a walkway. That is a door to the left of the black cabinet.
