I really like the golden like stain in the sampler house photo with pink walls. I want the 2nd house to have a similar effect with glowing warm undertones and an airy look. Right now is too dark. The 2nd photo is the actual living room I would be redoing. What stain should I pick? It is red oak floors and the choices I was looking at were fruitwood or golden oak. I wanted something that didn’t make the room ugly with the wall panels and brightened it up while keeping its original character. I tend to like warm oak gold amber undertones. Here’s the samples I was looking at in the 3rd photo.
