Pillow Paralysis

Welcome to the sofa that ate our beach house. It needs new pillows.

This room isn’t gonna win any decor awards, but it is comfy. The wall you can’t see is the TV wall. We have crammed as much seating as possible for watching sports or movies in this former dining room.

Ignore the rug bc I think it’s going away, and ignore the piles of pillows. I want 2-3 fun, colorful pillows with shades of blue that work with the wall color and chair color.

I don’t want stripes. I’d rather have a punchy floral or, I don’t know, maybe fish or mermaids or something.

See the throws on the chair and sofa? Those are for the dogs. So I can’t have precious embroidered pillows or anything white.

So far I like this one.

Have you seen any good splashy pillows lately?

PS I know the coffee table is too low.

@Sueb20, I have two of these that I had custom made for a 26" pillow form, but never used because I went in a different direction. If you want them, message me with your address and I'll ship them off to you.

I didnt see anything that would work for you but I LOVE the new ruggable Iris Apfel collection of rugs, door mats and pillows!

I do like the ones you selected for your space ... but I am also partial to octopi! Unfortunately, they tend not to be overly colorful. Tide Hill, Target, Etsy .. basically you'll find them all over. I liked these on etsy ... too tame for this room?

Ha! I used that fabric on a pair of vintage rattan chairs in our rental house next door we purchased and completely remodeled! LOVE this fabric.

This board is the best. There is a vintage tray on the coffee table that hhireno sent to me a year or two ago! Pretty soon it will be the GW Room.

P.S. if you find anything for me, I can just drive over! 😆 And YOU did the techno redo of the sofa area ? Now,THAT’s a big gift. Sue, that is such a cozy little area.

@martinca_gw sunset zone 24, give one of the AI sites like chatgpt a try. Doing mock-ups is so easy now compared to using Photoshop.

BTW, your house is already gorgeous.
