Week 2:

My total Roof Area that will drain to the garden is 422 sq ft. The water in the hole I dug drained within 3 hrs. 422 x .02= 84.4 sq ft.

Week 3:

I think i'm liking this shape, it stays away from the gas line, my house, and wont overflow onto my neighbor's driveway. I'm wondering how wide the berm should be though. I've got joe pye weed and great blue lobelia in the back yard that i could transplant up, but i also got some Red twig dogwood that i propogated and is gonna need to go somewhere. I think that would screen the front porch real good for some privacy.

I Spent Saturday morning digging out the front lawn to the amusement of some of my neighbors. I'm going to get mulch soon and will try to make it out to the wild type public sale in a few weeks. I'm excited to get stuff into the ground!
