Ice white quartz and "muted gray" cabinets, and a glass top table don't feel very organically forest. Nor does a flooring with a gray tone.

You do not want chocolate brown curtains with muted gray cabinetry.

You could add some forest theme with wallpaper or curtains. A little wallpaper goes a long way, so you could put it on a smaller wall.

Use removable wallpaper for the daughter's dark "forest" bedroom. It is far cheaper than having a bedroom with dark paint repainted with three coats of primer and two coats of new color after she gets tired of the dark forest look.
