Can you get a new door that is wider, skip the sidelight and do slightly wider trim around the door?

I've never liked the look of a single sidelight. It always looks unbalanced/unfinished.

I think the dark wood door and black storm door will not be great with a white sidelight. Suggest waiting until the doors are installed to decide.

You may find though that the sidelight doesn’t suit your door (sounds like you aren’t replacing). If budget allow, a light wood stained door with a matching sidelight would suit the stone and feel less broken up. If interested, provide a picture of your house, as knowing its style might generate some options you hadn’t considered.Do you really need a storm door and I’d put the money towards the sidelight.

You can check, but I think the door/sidelight is a one piece install. The new door/sidelight you show is a one piece and the side light is the same color.

Not loving the arch window and the faux leaded glass windows. Too many different styles on one door.

You don't need a storm door for a Thermatru...as a matter of fact you shouldn't have one if the door gets a lot of sun because heat builds up between them and should you hang a wreath on your door, it will combust.

If you go ahead with a new storm do a full view and have it match the front door.

Keep it white and get a white storm door.

I live in Canada where winters are nasty , never had a storm door just good steel door well insulated . If a screen is what you use the storm door for get a Phantom. BTW IMHO a door , frame and side lights should all be the same color they ae all one unit
