I did have "Rocketman" permanently in a pot for about 3 seasons. Being lazy late in the year, rather than bringing it into the sheltered garage as I had done in the past I instead moved it close to the wall hoping that this would be good enough but alas it didn't make it :(.

I have a spot in ground this time and of course there are many varieties. I have looked at the "Chicago Botanic Garden" An Evaluation Study of Russian Sage Cultivars. But this is from 2020.

I figure, with all else being equal, the taller the variety the more likely it is to flop.
