Before trying to fit a freestanding tub, I would make sure the room works well in the three daily-use zones first: shower, toilet privacy, and vanity circulation. In an 11x9 bath, a tub can work, but only if it does not force tight walkways or leave the vanity wall feeling like an afterthought.

Because the walls are concrete, I would decide the vanity strategy early: one larger mirror, two mirrors, or recessed mirror-cabinet storage. That choice affects electrical rough-in, lighting placement, and how much the room feels finished instead of flat.

From a production and QC perspective, I would also pay attention to service access, waterproofing transitions, and whether the shower glass, vanity depth, and mirror lighting are all being coordinated together instead of selected separately. Those details usually make the biggest difference in the final result.

IMO rethink the FS tub and get a nice deep skaer drop in design is nice

I’d consider a single sink vanity so you have more counter and drawer space. With that size vanity I don’t picture two people using the sinks at the same time anyway.

@yuoutech Thanks for your input. I should've prefaced that the proposed build and what we now have doesn't match. The shower wall and bath wall are switched. The original shower space is now empty. The vanity wall is exactly 11ft 10 inches. Toilet and now shower wall is 9ft 10 inches. The shower will use up appx 3ft of that 9ft once the wall divider for shower glass and door is built. I don't want the vanity to feel like an after thought, but also having a 11ft vanity sounds like a lot to me. So what do I do with that space.

Now we have that empty space where the "shower" originally was. The build strayed a lot from what was planned. Do I bring the vanity along the full 11ft wall?

I wouldn’t run the vanity across the entire wall just because the space is available. A smaller double vanity with a linen cabinet—or simply some open space—may feel much better.

This Porter Ranch bathroom uses separate areas for the double vanity, tub and shower without making the room feel crowded. It may give you a helpful layout idea.

Since your home has concrete construction, I would settle the complete layout before moving any plumbing.
