The homeowner loves to prepare meals for her large, extended family. But her kitchen was disjointed and didn’t reflect her sense of style. She spent two years dreaming about the remodel and countless hours clipping magazines, researching products and interviewing builders before selecting Distinctive Design / Build / Remodel, LLC for her remodeling project.

One of the most striking features of this kitchen is the corbel ceiling which extends over the gently curved seating bar. The corbel is coated with several layers of Venetian plaster which is a mixture of aged lime, marble dust and pigment. It is polished by hand, looks like antique stone, and is luxurious to the touch.
