You will need something substantial on the end wall, either larger artwork or more pieces. Here are renderings with one or two large pieces (one bold, one subtle), so you can assess scale.

I see one step up from the floor level before you turn right for the main staircase. Perhaps the smaller blue artwork can go there, so it's what you see when you go up that one step? If you use strong blue art on the end wall, the smaller piece would also add a balancing spot of blue on the other side of the room.

AI and design apps can definitely help with inspiration and visualizing different directions, but I’d avoid trying too many styles at once - that can actually make the process more overwhelming.

Start with one or two inspiration images you truly love and identify what they have in common: color palette, wood tones, furniture shapes, fabrics and lighting. Then choose the larger pieces first and layer in lighting, rugs, art and accessories afterward.

Thanks again to everyone. A more general question - the greige/taupe rug suggestion makes sense. I tend to be too matchy-matchy. What is the art/science behind suggesting greige/taupe or is this something you just have an eye for? I am trying to learn how to pick complementary colors and in a room and not just stick to two or three that are completely matching. Thanks!
