Hello, I am sharing pictures of a living room that has windows on the South side (and some on the east by the kitchen area). I'm attaching pictures of the house layout from different angles and need help placing items - couch/side chair, rugs and TV stand. Trying to share different angles hoping it will give an idea of the room layout (and some more of the finished wood etc. shown better).
I like both modern cuts but favor a traditional, farmhouse/beach style. Light blues/teals/rose pinks are what I really love.
Note: the kitchen cabinets are a very light grey - look white from a distance. The island is a dark navy blue - looks black most times but the blues show depending on the light angles. The floor is medium brown. Hoping to pull the colors together - so sky blue (not necessarily teal but I love teal), deep royal blues but not all blues. Previously I used to have a very bright floral rug but am thinking of something a little more floral but lighter blue/light teal colors if those will not clash.

Also, as a believer in vastu, I would prefer not sitting facing the south windows too much. So maybe a couch that sits on the south side (facing north when you sit) and/or facing east/west. But, I will need to balance some of the furniture to be placed on the east/South sides of the room so they face north/west when we sit down.
Kitchen island chairs are currently white/cream and have a lighter rug under them. There will be no formal dining area, we will place a large piano there instead for my son.
Also sharing inspiration pictures on the look I'm going for. But, I want a couch that is comfortable, deep too and will need some help pulling together the room :)
